In their sixth performance GroβeErwartungen|Great Expectations the artists are questioning the core of theatre as well as our society - they are questioning the position of power, representation and privileges. The collective often uses personal impulses and turns them into analytical presentation of wider state of affairs. They portrait themselves as representatives of European, white, wealthy, heterosexual or better put privileged and overrepresented social group. They perform big theatre of western world, stage performance of privileged race, who allows conquering everything and everyone, elegantly and rightfully, and for real, without hesitation. The performance is based on physical and performative expression of the actors and live music.

This is an ensemble, which builds on a gesture. This is not revolutionary theatre, although it is innovative and political. It is a theatre we need here and now, to push us at least a few feet somewhere else – or reminds us, that it’s time to go.
