Jack Timmermans / De Stilte

is a professional dance theatre for children and young adults based in Breda in the south of the Netherlands; it addresses young audiences as emancipated spectators, co-creators of stage stories. Stories, believes the artistic director and choreographer, the group’s founder Jack Timmermans, expand the borders of our world by activating the imagination thus bringing the world closer to the individual. In addition to professional productions, their programme includes annual dance trainings and individual workshops, they complement performances with talks and organise the international festival BRIK.

Dominika Špalkov / Theatre DRAK

based in Hradec Kr.lov. in eastern Czech Republic is one of the most important puppet theatres. Since it was founded in 1958, it has successfully moved between the traditional and the radical, and the key Czech puppeteers used to set (international) guidelines for the development in puppetry. Since 2010, they’ve been intensely developing educational programmes: the Labyrinth exhibition space hosts interactive activities for young people, the Laboratory is a playful, innovative and creative classroom, and the modern black Studio can welcome up to 100 spectators. With the Klicperovo Theatre they organise an important international theatre festival of European regions.

Sandra Jenko / Slovenian Theatre Institute (STI - SLOGI)

is a national public institute whose mission and method are collecting, documenting, preserving, researching, interpreting, presenting and promoting Slovenian theatre culture, heritage and art. The anchor of theatre creativity, STI has since 2016 been the coordinator of the national project See(k)ing Theatre, which aims to increase theatre literacy, encourage creative partnerships and develop general competences, among which is the Golden Stick, a web platform of quality productions and pedagogic approaches for children and young people.
